FAQ

What are the show times?

The Fall Arts & Crafts Show will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both Saturday, and Sunday and will take place RAIN OR SHINE.

The Water’s End Beer Garden in River Mill Park will be open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

What about parking?

At a cost of $5 per rider, visitors will park at the designated lots (see below) and will be transported by shuttle into Town to attend the show. Kids 12 and under are free. The shuttle runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Is there an admission fee?

Admission is free. There is a $5 fee to ride the shuttle into town.

Will there be food and drink available?

Yes! Many of our local eateries will be open for business during the craft show. In addition, we’ll have a food court area with loads of food tents and trucks to choose from.

PLUS…(drumroll, please)…Water’s End Brewery will be in River Mill Park, pouring beers from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. both days! Shop the show, then take a trip down to the park to relax and listen to Just Wanna Play on Saturday and Redacted on Sunday. Pro tip: Park at the corner of Route 123 & Old Bridge Road and hop the Green shuttle to go directly to the park.

What are the accessibility  options?

Patrons may opt to be dropped off directly at a shuttle stop and have a driver park at satellite parking. The Yellow shuttle stop (under the 123 bridge) is the flattest area for wheelchairs.

Handicap accessible parking is available in town under the Route 123 Bridge, accessible by Poplar Lane during the run of the craft show.

Handicap accessible parking is also available on Commerce Street. Patrons wishing to use this space should travel in on Washington Street, where they will be directed to spaces by police. Please note that there is a hill from Commerce Street to Mill Street.

Is the Town taking any COVID safety precautions?

Yes. The Town will have hand sanitizing stations available throughout the event. The Town will ask shuttle riders ages 5 and over to wear a face covering on board the short trip to and from satellite parking based on the CDC’s current recommendation that fully vaccinated people wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission.

Further, fully vaccinated people might choose to wear a mask regardless of the level of transmission, particularly if they are immunocompromised or at increased risk for severe disease from COVID-19, or if they have someone in their household who is immunocompromised, at increased risk of severe disease or not fully vaccinated.

This is an outdoor venue. While masking is not required in outdoor settings, it is recommended in crowded outdoor settings, regardless of vaccination status.

The health and well-being of our residents, patrons, businesses and local community is paramount. The Town of Occoquan continues to closely monitor information from the Centers for Disease control and Prevention (CDC) and local and government authorities to guide decisions about Town events.
