Peep Week

Stroll through historic Occoquan and vote for your favorite PEEPS® dioramas, displayed at Occoquan businesses, or enter the Occoquan Community Peep Contest with your very own creation!  

Music on Mill  Concert Series

The Town hosts a summer outdoor concert series in River Mill Park, featuring local bands and a varied genre.  Concerts are free. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and a picnic and enjoy the music! 

Trivia Nights in River Mill Park

The Town hosts Trivia Night in River Mill Park. Held on one Friday per month, May through October, in River Mill Park starting at 6:30 p.m.

RiverFest & Craft Show

Enjoy this two-day street festival that has it all: fabulous shopping, on-the-water activities, a beer & wine garden with a live concert series. Stop by the new Conservation Alley, packed with family fun and raising awareness about the environment. Occurs annually the first full weekend in June.

Discover Occoquan

This fun event in August celebrates the town businesses and features the famous Occoquan Duck Splash and a concert in River Mill Park. Visitors are invited to browse the town’s unique shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and cafes to experience all that Occoquan has to offer. 

Fall Arts & Crafts Show

Hosted in the streets of Historic Occoquan, the Fall Arts & Crafts Show features two packed days of a wide range of 200+ artisans, makers, and creators in over 20 categories. Meet experienced artisans and view demonstrations of some of their craft techniques. Kids make their own art in mini-workshops in Imagination Alley! Occurs annually the last full weekend in September.

Spirits & Spirits

Get ready for a scary, spooky good time during Occoquan’s Spirits & Spirits! If you aren’t too scared, check out our spooky Haunted Maze! If you prefer your All Hallows’ Eve to be on the tamer side, we have a costume parade and contest for you. Occoquan can really get into the SPIRIT of things!

HolidayFest & Holiday Artisan Market

HolidayFest brings two weeks of holiday activities, entertainment, and shopping, beginning with the annual Tree Lighting and Shop Late night.  Occoquan’s Holiday Artisan Market is held in River Mill Park with  a number of other holiday festivities, such as visits with Santa and afternoon concerts.
