RiverFest & Craft Show
June 4 & 5, 2022

Enjoy this two-day street festival that has it all: fabulous shopping, on-the-water activities, a beer & wine garden with a live concert series. Stop by the new Conservation Alley, packed with family fun, eats, beer, and music, all while raising awareness about the environment. Occurs annually the first full weekend in June.

Fall Arts & Crafts Show
September 24 & 25, 2022

Hosted in the streets of Historic Occoquan, the Fall Arts & Crafts Show will feature two packed days of a wide range of 200+ artisans, makers, and creators in over 20 categories. Meet emerging and experienced artisans, talk to them about their work, and view demonstrations of some of their craft techniques. You’ll have the opportunity to indulge in festival fare and enjoy live music in the beer & wine garden in River Mill Park,  the perfect spot to take a break. Let the kids make their own art in mini-workshops or on the mural wall in Imagination Alley! Occurs the last full weekend in September.

HolidayFest Kicks Off November 19, 2022

Occoquan’s Holiday Artisan Market is held in River Mill Park with  a number of other holiday festivities, such as concerts, caroling, and cocoa! Plus visits with Santa! This is a sleek and distinct holiday market curated from the work of juried artisans.

Trivia Nights in River Mill Park
Fridays, May – October

The Town hosts Trivia Night in River Mill Park. Held on one Friday per month, May through October, in River Mill Park starting at 6:30 p.m. Cost: $30 per team. View the schedule and register in advance.

Music on Mill  Concert Series
Saturdays, May – September

The Town hosts an outdoor concert series in River Mill Park, featuring local bands and a varied genre.  Concerts are free. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and a picnic and enjoy the music! View the concert schedule.

Peep Week
April 2023

Stroll through historic Occoquan and vote for your favorite PEEPS® dioramas, displayed at Occoquan businesses, or enter the Occoquan Community Peep Contest with your very own creation! Fun For Lil Peeps lets your little ones hunt for eggs and meet the Easter Bunny. 

Discover Occoquan
August 13-21, 2022
This fun event in August celebrates the town businesses and features more than a week of free activities including interactive classes and free demonstrations hosted by Occoquan businesses. Also included in this fun week: the famous Occoquan Duck Splash, A Taste of Occoquan, Trivia Night, cornhole tournament, scavenger hunt, ghost tours, sunset kayak tour, and much more. Visitors are invited to browse the town’s unique shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and cafes to experience all that Occoquan has to offer. For the full schedule, click here.
Plays in the Park
Aug 26-28 & Sep 2-4, 2022
Join us for some theatrics in River Mill Park over Labor Day weekend to see an 80s version of The Taming of the Shrew, presented by Castaways Repertory Theatre. Bring a to-go from your favorite eatery and a blanket or some camp chairs. Get comfy and enjoy the show!

Spirits & Spirits
October 28 & 29, 2022

Get ready for a scary, spooky good time during Occoquan’s Spirits & Spirits! If you aren’t too scared, check out our spooky Haunted Maze! If you prefer your All Hallows’ Eve to be on the tamer side, we have a costume parade and contest, plus a movie night for you. Occoquan can really get into the SPIRIT of things!
