Thinking of removing a tree on your property within the Town of Occoquan? Contact Town Hall before removing a tree that is four (4) caliper inches or larger to obtain a tree removal permit. Per the Town Code, Section 155.088, Tree Protection, it is unlawful to remove, destroy, or permanently damage any existing native tree that is four (4) caliper inches or larger without obtaining a permit.
Tree Removal Permit Process
To remove a native tree that is four caliper inches or larger, you must first contact Town Hall to request a permit. Please complete the Tree Removal Permit Request Application and submit to Town Hall at least seven days prior to your expected date of work.
