2023 Holiday Artisan Market in Occoquan
Occoquan’s Holiday Artisan Market will be hosted in River Mill Park along the beautiful Occoquan River where the Town will also host a number of holiday festivities to coincide with the market, such as concerts, caroling, cocoa, and visits with Santa!

ARTISAN MARKET EVENT SCHEDULE
December 2 & 3, 2023
SANTA
Santa arrives by boat at the town dock at Mamie Davis Park December 3 at 10:30am. Kids of all ages are then invited to escort Santa to River Mill Park. The big guy will be available to visit 11am to 1pm both Saturday and Sunday in the park.
GINGERBREAD CONTEST
The community votes on their favorite gingerbread creations during the Artisan Market in River Mill Park.
CONCERTS
As a special extra, concerts are scheduled both days at the market. Both concerts are at 2pm.
SHUTTLE
Free shuttle service is available for patrons from the Rt 123 and Old Bridge Road commuter from 11am to 6pm both days of the market.

PARKING
Vendors are asked to park on the access road adjacent to the river and are allotted one vehicle for the weekend.
OVERNIGHT COVERAGE
There will be overnight coverage in the park from our local police department. There is no need to completely take down your tent. You’ll want to secure it to make sure it stays put. Remember that all tents need to be weighted down. Stakes are NOT allowed in this park.
LOAD IN
- Vendors will sign up for a load in slot in November.
- At their designated interval, vendors drive up to River Mill Park at 458 Mill Street and park in the cul-de-sac.
- Off load onto the sidewalk area or directly into a utility vehicle if available. A market marshall will be on site to oversee goods temporarily stowed in the cul-de-sac.
- With off load complete, vendors move their vehicles to the Vendor Parking area on the access road to allow room for the next shift. Do not leave vehicles in the cul de sac parking spots. See the map below to the vendor parking area.
